* Improved AI-based proofreading for Spanish and German.
* Feature settings now reflect actual availability for the selected language and configuration.
* Spelling issue descriptions now show a specific message for classified issues in [English](/v6.18.1/features/match-classification-feature/english.md#spelling), [Spanish](/v6.18.1/features/match-classification-feature/spanish.md#spelling) and [German](/v6.18.1/features/match-classification-feature/german.md#spelling).
* Lowered AI writing assistant [minimum text length to 30 characters](https://docs.wproofreader.com/features/ai-writing-assistant-aiwa#user-manual).
* Added a German option to require the eszett (ß) instead of ss, and improved handling of hyphenated words, including words that start with a hyphen.
* Added a specialized [English veterinary dictionary](/v6.18.1/features/specialized-dictionaries.md), [disabled by default](/v6.18.1/deployment/configuration/application-server/appserver-parameters.md#dictionary).
* Fixed a French bug that incorrectly suggested removing nonbreaking spaces before punctuation.
* Added new [API commands](/v6.18.1/api-reference/overview.md) and server configuration options for administrators, including retrieving user dictionaries and checking supported languages.
* Expanded dictionaries and medical terminology across multiple languages. 
* Updated Netty, MariaDB Java client, logback-classic, and Jackson Databind to fix security vulnerabilities.
