# Release portal

The WProofreader release portal is a website for WProofreader on-premise customers. In the portal, you can see the status, the expiry date and the key of your on-premise license. You can also see all available on-premise releases and read the release notes for each release. You can download the installer for your operating system and architecture, or open the WProofreader Docker image on DockerHub. The portal is part of your WebSpellChecker account.

The portal is for organizations that have a WProofreader on-premise license. Access is by invitation only. WebSpellChecker sends each invitation to one email address. When this user gets access, the account owner or an administrator can add more users from the organization as team members. All team members can use the portal.

### Get access to the portal

To get access, you must have an invitation email from WebSpellChecker. The email contains an activation link. The link is for one email address only and has an expiry date. If the link expires, ask WebSpellChecker support for a new invitation.

If you are signed in to a WebSpellChecker account, sign out first. Then open the activation link.

If you have an account, the sign-in page opens and tells you that an account for this email already exists. Sign in with your account. The license is added to this account, and your current subscriptions do not change:

If you do not have an account, the registration form opens. It shows your email address, and you cannot change it. Type your name and a password. Click **Sign up**. Then click the verification link in the email from WebSpellChecker.

{% hint style="success" %}
You can also sign in or sign up with Google or Microsoft. Use the account that has the same email address as the invitation. If the email address is different, the **Different email address** page opens, and the license is not added to your account.
{% endhint %}

After you sign up or sign in, the **Confirm portal access** page opens. It shows the organization name, the product name and the licenses in the invitation. For each license, you see the last part of the license key and the license status. To change the organization name, click the edit icon. Type the new name and click the check icon.

{% hint style="info" %}
Only one account can hold the license. If the license is already active on another account, the **License already claimed** page opens. To get access, ask the owner of that account to add you as a team member.
{% endhint %}

Read the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Select the check box to accept them. Click **Confirm access**. The **License** page opens.

If you do not want access, click **Cancel**. The home page of your account opens, and the license is not added to your account.

{% hint style="warning" %}
When you decline the invitation, you cannot use the activation link again. To get access later, ask WebSpellChecker support for a new invitation.
{% endhint %}

### See your license

To see your license, click **License** in the navigation menu. The **License** page shows the license status, the license key and the due date.

The license key is hidden. Click the eye icon to show or hide the key. Click the copy icon to copy the key. The due date is the expiry date of the license. If the license has no expiry date, the page shows "No expiration date".
