⚠️ Important change for self-hosted customers Starting with v6.16.0, self-hosted customers must reactivate their license after each WProofreader version upgrade.

Key updates:

  • Introduced a new v4 license format with product grants, usage limits, and version restrictions

  • Added the new license_status command and improved license expiration reporting and warnings

  • Updated the third-party grammar engine (LanguageTool) to the 2026-08-03 release
