When does the support agreement start?

There are two types of licensing for the on-premise product versions:

Annual license:

  • This license includes technical support services.

  • The support agreement and access to the software and related services expire if the license is not renewed in time.

  • The start date of the support agreement coincides with the start date of the license, usually the day the license is issued following receipt of payment.

Perpetual license:

  • This option is typically for older contracts and some new ones, where the license is perpetual, but the support agreement is an annual subscription.

  • A new license includes 12 months of support coverage. After this period, clients can choose to extend support for another year. Without renewal, updates and assistance are not provided.

  • If renewed later, the start of the new support agreement is considered the end date of the initial one, ensuring continuous coverage.

  • The support agreement usually starts from the day the license is issued and is valid for one year until it expires or is renewed.
