WProofreader doesn't work in Zen browser

Issue

WProofreader may not work correctly in the Zen browser. Users can see a repeated sign-in prompt even after successfully logging in.

Cause

This is a known issue in the Zen browser. It affects browser extensions that use sign-in flows inside spaces or containers. The session isn't properly shared, which results in repeated authentication requests.

This behavior is not specific to WProofreader and also occurs with other extensions.

Workaround

To resolve the issue:

1. Open the Sign in page in a regular browser tab (not inside a container or space).

2. Complete the sign-in process there.

3. Return to your original tab and continue using WProofreader.

Status

This issue is tracked by the Zen browser team and is expected to be fixed on their side.
