# How is the on-premise product licensed?

The WebSpellChecker commercial server license includes the following entitlements:

1. **Installation flexibility:** You can install the on-premise product version on multiple environments or servers as needed. The license is tied to the client software specified in the license scope, such as a specific product or a portfolio of products belonging to the client.
2. **Usage term:** The license is typically valid for one year, as it is an annual license. This duration specifies the period during which you can use the software.
3. **Support and updates:** The license includes software support for one year. This support encompasses software updates and maintenance.
